Java redstone quasi-connectivity bug has two beneficial effects:
- Detecting block updates. This problem is now solved by observer block (semi-)consistently between editions.
- Transmitting power one block down without complex wiring. This problem is currently unsolved in Bedrock edition.
While technically it isn't a real problem. Java edition can have simple contraptions (like Jeb door) which require bulky designs in Bedrock.
To solve this problem I propose a "redstone dust block". Works exactly like redstone dust, but it is a block (can be pushed by pistons).
This allows transmitting power directly downwards in a 1x1 space, in a way that can be arranged by pistons. Jeb door equivalent can utilize these blocks to power the bottom pistons without having to go under the door.
Aside from help improve parity, this block would also be useful when building underwater contraptions and flying machines.
