Change the sound of lilypads

I don’t think it makes much sense realistically as to why when someone walks on, falls on, or jumps on a lilypad it gives off a similar sound as if you were on a block of wood or something similar. I think it should sound more like when you jump on a large dripleaf since it is a plant.
