I kind of get haptics, but where in the world can you add adaptive triggers? The entire game is analog as far as I am aware. (Meaning you are either pressing or not) Even if they made it so that you could use them, and they made breaking blocks (and other things) non-analog, I wouldn't want to break a block at 50% if I am not pressing the trigger all the way down. In my opinion, it seems that adaptive triggers would be a useless feature to the game. Haptics however, would definitely help with improving the immersion.
Uses for the adaptive triggers for those who don't know how they work, and just suggestions in general:
- Trigger vibration at block break
- A trigger impulse at hitting a mob
- Likewise, a vibration when a held shield is hit
- Eating and drinking feedback
- Adaptive trigger resistance when shooting a bow
- Block placing feedback
Especially placing and breaking blocks getting feedback I consider essential, given they are the most common actions in the game, but possibilities are endless if the devs are willing to give this feature enough support: throwing tridents, loading a crossbow, different feedback for different blocks breaking (i.e. chopping wood, mining, digging, etc), and so on.
