Changing resolution even with restarting the game doesn’t actually do anything, game always outputs at 3840x2160, it only appears like 1080p. Even when it says 1920x1080 at the top after restarting, the fps still performs the same as when it says 3840x2160 at the top.

For me i have played around in vanilla survival like normal, no stress testing or anything and for the most part it runs good with the the biggest thing i see is frame drops from 60 to 50 at most. To be honest i wasn't looking for anything other that if it was stable, not freezing, not crashing and other things that i had happen on the ps4 version.

Now here comes the fun part

After playing around on the first seed i thought i would start a new seed, maybe do creative and stress test it a little. But my plan changed when i seen all the addons and texture packs in the resource packs and i could activate them. So activating the pack will of course download it to the preview, but some of them were slow to download and took some time so i only downloaded 18 addons and 2 texture packs. Once i had them download i added all of them to a copy of the seed i made to see what would happen, loading up the world is a lot slower of course but once it loaded it ran good again no crashing or freezing which was nice cause 2 of the addons are the decocraft and furniture from xp games that would make the game crash the most of time if either or both were added to any seed that i was on. Now after just running around to make sure it didn't crash, i opened the inventory which was slower to open and from time to time when digging the blocks would not disappear but use to that on ps4 lol. I only have a little time with the addons on so this is all i have noticed so far.

Minecraft PS5 would benefit from 4K + 120 HZ support, as well as making use of the adaptive triggers, ray tracing, or the controller speaker. Right now, it doesn’t feel like too large of a leap in terms of an update… Processing may be better, but it is not much of an experiential upgrade. It feels more like a remastered PS4 game than a true next-gen version of the game, just made to slap the PS5 logo onto it. I hope future updates bring more features like these to the table for Minecraft on PS5.

Hopefully you guys can make the ps5 edition support 120hz because if it’s not that means this is the most useless ps5 edition game ever published!! Thanks.
