When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

why

I was using redstone ore in a trap because it activates in a way that can be seen by an observer even when it is hidden under carpet. The thing is, it only works once. The redstone ore never stops glowing for some reason meaning I have to remine it whenever something steps on it rather than it turning off on its own like I thought redstone ore was supposed to. Would appreciate redstone ore turning off after a time.
