basically, for add-on creators, we cant add our own stairs walls buttons pressure plates and signs because whenever I check an add-on with stairs you dont collide correctly with it and it acts like a slab. Pressure plates, signs, and walls are also impossible which limits modding possibilities.

This.  I'm finally learning to mod and was just crushed to find out I can't even do stairs and slabs in my new block builds and there's zero good reason for it.  These are basic blocks and should have their model definitions easily and proudly displayed in Learn Microsoft tutorials for beginners.  It's high time that Mojang understands Bedrock Edition has a dedicated player base because it's cross-platform.  They need to stop treating it as some inferior clone of Java Edition and start porting more functionality to it.
