Thousands of players on 1 map. A Minecraft MMO.
Imagine a 30 million by 30 million Minecraft world being inhabited by thousands of players at once. A world shaped entirely by real people that you couldn't fully explore in a lifetime. Obviously, this would be a massive technical feat. But it is potentially achievable. Maybe it could be a whole new version of the game that functions very similarly to the base game? That way, Mojang could add an anticheat system and other important MMO features. They could charge a subscription fee for this version. They could implement in-game items that allow players to claim territory, just so there could be some order. Imagine the in-game civilizations that would naturally arise, and the stories that would come out of a Minecraft MMO. You could make a lot of money off of this, Mojang
