Cherries

Cherries need to be added in minecraft because we have the new cherry biome and when you hit the leaves with scissors it's an 80% chance is given a cherry. And you can craft a cherry cake or cherry pie.

    Flowering plants do not bear fruit.
    Different stages should be added, replacing each other.

    Ornamental Cherry trees (the kind the new cherry trees are based on) don't have that kind of cherry fruit. Their fruits mostly seed and what little flesh there is is extremely sour. Some parts of sakura trees are even poisonous, and the devs definitely don't want to make people think they can go around eating things off poisonous plants.

    Not actually necessary, and this kind of tree doesn't actually produce palatable fruits.
