Add official (and optional) in-game support for mods to Minecraft.
Community generated modifications have been around since early stages in Minecraft's development and as of lately mod creators have had difficulty in producing more mods due to Minecraft's rising complexity and now nearly non-existent support for said modifications. As the community has asked time and time again, please just add official support for mods with perhaps an In-Game panel where you may just install a mod and go as you please, people have quite literally recreated Minecraft from scratch just to do this very thing, one such example it Minetest.
In-Game mod menu and installation panel.
A mod menu, perhaps a partnership with Fabric, Curseforge, or Modlinth, where you may download mods as you please would surely bring in a large amount of traction that will stick around for a while. Many players get bored of Minecraft, hear about mods, find its too confusing or incompatible with their device to use, and then end up dropping Minecraft as a whole until the next game update comes where after a few days runs out of content. This very scenario has happened to myself up until recently where I've come back to Minecraft with newfound knowledge. By adding a modification menu and simplifying the process of installing mods would not only grow Playerbase but also keep the game alive longer and longer as the community makes an endless flow of content to be explored; also lifting the ever growing demand for more updates from the developers.
