I would like to see the Aether dimension brought into vanilla Minecraft, or maybe a whole new dimension. By all means Mojang, please bring a new adventure into Minecraft; bring a whole new dimension for Minecraft fans to explore. 🙏

Bro i don't think they can add an entire new dimension until 2023. And this update is highly bulder focused too.

Creating a new dimension would be nice, but the end would have to updated first. Because they said a new dimension wouldn't be added until all three were updated. Also many say it might be a skulk dimension I guess from the Nether leaking into the Overworld but I doubt that due to the Skulk being can be found without an Ancient City. Honestly, since Kingbdogz is working at Mojang, maybe it'll be something like the Aether.. and actually would create a nice lore standpoint for the Warden who resides within Skulk.

i hope a sculk related dimension related to the deep dark portal, maybe a outer end exit?

Not just to see wasn't the other side we need more sculk mods like the warden

As I recall no new dimesion until after the Update for the End, I wager they'll get back around to what is at that ancient ring. Personally, I think for a change a pace, it should be a small event dimension where you have a limited time to go in and get out, for resources, and it changes with each activation.

    What if it was

25% Deep Dark. I think this is self-explanatory.

25% Hollow. Perhaps some sort of large, tower-like structure with the hollowed inside. To make more sense with the finalized sculk design, the mob could be given cleaner teeth (so it is not "too gory"), and instead of being white with black spots, being dark bluish-green like the warden. To make it unique, it could be a boss mob of sorts. The Hollow biome could be distinguished from the deep dark because the caves are much, much larger, almost like the Nether, and because the ground is more uneven, and the ceiling is more flat. (maybe the hollowed tower is hanging from the ceiling?)

25% Totemlands. The idea for the stalker involved a place, covered in sculk, with many totems everywhere. You could try to take the crystals from the totems, but if the totem was a stalker it would kill you. I propose that this awesome idea could be done in this dimension.

25% Barrens. A biome, empty of sculk, with no wardens, holloweds, or stalkers. The entire biome is empty or contains acid aquifers, which damage you as you swim.

No thanks. We don't need a new dimension. And just because the Ancient City has a portal doesn't mean we ever get to open it (or should open it). Obviously, whoever opened it before probably regretted it, assuming that's where the Sculk came from.

It's good to leave the option open for the distant future, but why would they add a new dimension when there's still a ton of improvement still needed to the ones we have? The Overworld needs a biome revamp, and the End in general needs some kind of overhaul to make it more exciting than the exact same end stone and chorus plants view in every direction.

While a skulk dimension may make sense from a lore standpoint, I think it would be bad from a gameplay standpoint. It would totally make the deep dark biome pointless. If an entire dimension exists that is filled with skulk, what makes the deep dark so special? It would end up being similar to ruined portals--dimensional leakage in the overworld from a different dimension.

Add custom dimensions and data drive them!

Adding a new dimension with a  new boss fight would be awesome!

I don't think the new dimension should be the Aether, as the portal is located in a structure located near bedrock. A dimension like Mines of Moria would be better suited. You could have to place a rune you get from killing the warden in a lectern in front of the reinforced deepslate portal. You could find a type of village that is inhabited by survivors of a warden attack, and could be called a village of the ancients.

We need a new dimension, and lots of new mobs in it

We don't need any new dimension for the moment, and less a sculk dimension.
Let that to a mod, or you will be disappointed.
And we have biomes of sculk on the overworld, what else do you wanna find on this dimension ???!!!!!!!

I'm thinking that the dimension, found in the ancient city, shouldn't be a sculk only-place, as it would feel a bit monotonous at the end.

What if it was a portal to go back in time? Sniffers and other ancient mobs roaming the overworld before sheep and villagers did, and sculk infested the darkness before zombies and skeletons? You can find extinct plants and possibly new ancient trees. It might be, a Prehistoric overworld dimension!

I'll agree that this is too big for 1.20, and the End probably needs a fresh coat of paint first, but a  dimension that could be in the ancient city doesn't have to just be a hostile, sculk world.
